Exercise is Medicine
EIM is a worldwide initiative established and navigated by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). EIM seeks to incorporate physical activity as an everyday tool for medical care and disease prevention. The initiative's focus is to encourage healthcare providers to include physical activity assessments and exercise prescriptions as a routine part of clinical practice. On-Campus EIM
Healthy UNA’s EIM program is a free service available to individuals who qualify for Healthy UNA’s Heart 2 Heart (H2H) program. Our on-campus clinicians work directly with eligible participants to provide personalized exercise assessments and develop customized fitness prescriptions tailored to each individual's needs. All exercise plans are carefully reviewed and approved by a Certified Exercise Physiologist to ensure safety and effectiveness.
