The Department of Geoscience at UNA offers three undergraduate majors: 1. Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree in Geography 2. Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Science (GIS), and 3. Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainability. The Department also offers minors in: , , and GIS Programming.

Geography
Undergraduate - B.A./B.S.
The major in Geography is designed to serve students interested in careers in natural resource management, environmental organizations, community development and planning agencies, and more.

Geographic Information Science (GIS)

The major in Geographic Information Science (GIS) at UNA is a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) program and is designed to serve students who wish to prepare for careers in the more technical aspects of applied geography.

Sustainability
Undergraduate - B.S.
The major in Sustainability at UNA is a multi-disciplinary program that prepares students for green jobs in many fields related to environmental engineering, energy production, research and policy analysis, and more.

The Geographic Information Science (GIS) master’s program at the Âé¶¹ÉäÇø is an applied graduate program. Our students advance their knowledge and skills in the practical applications of geospatial tools and technologies to solve everyday problems.
